Terms of service
Last updated 9 October 2026
These terms govern your use of AI Shorts Maker at aishortsmaker.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
AI Shorts Maker turns text you provide into short vertical videos using automated AI systems: it writes narration beats, generates speech in a selected voice style, generates images or video clips, times captions and assembles a video file. Output is produced by machine learning models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or publishing it.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires, and you must sign in with a Google account you control. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
Your input
You keep whatever rights you hold in the text you submit. You grant us a licence to process, store and display it as needed to run the service, including showing public shorts to other users. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Ownership of output
As between you and us, you own any output produced by the service at your direction, including without limitation images, videos, text, and other content, to the extent permitted by applicable law, and you may use it for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise. We retain a licence to host and display output that you have set to public, and to use output internally to operate, test and improve the service. Because the law on AI-generated works varies by country, we make no promise that any particular output can be registered or enforced as your intellectual property.
Acceptable use
- No sexual content, and no content that sexualises or endangers minors, in any form.
- No content that harasses, threatens or defames a person, or that impersonates a real person or organisation.
- No content that promotes violence, self-harm, illegal activity or hatred against a protected group.
- No attempts to bypass moderation, scrape the service, reverse engineer it or disrupt it.
- No use of output to deceive people about its origin where that would cause harm.
Input and generated text are checked automatically. We may refuse a request, keep a result private, remove content or close an account when these rules are broken. Other users can report public shorts; content that receives multiple reports may be hidden pending review.
Credits, plans and payments
Shorts are paid for with credits. Monthly plans add credits each billing period; unused plan credits do not carry over. Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire. Plan credits are spent before pack credits. If a render fails for a reason other than a content violation, its credits are returned. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases are non-refundable. Upgrading a plan charges the price difference for the remainder of the period; downgrading takes effect at the end of the period. You can cancel a plan at any time through the billing portal.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, limit or discontinue features at any time. We depend on third-party AI providers whose availability and policies we do not control.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or its output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your input, your use of output, or your breach of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your content at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability and indemnity survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located there, unless your local law gives you non-waivable rights elsewhere.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
